FAQ

Have Questions?

If you don’t find the answer to your question, feel free to contact me at joanna@musialjanicka.art or use the contact form. I’ll be happy to help!

Are all the photos available in the store taken by you?

Yes, all photos available in the store are made by me – from taking the photo – to post-production. I would like to mention that you will not find Photoshop effect or AI in any of my photos. Everything you see is the work of Mother Nature – and me as an observer with camera.

Do you offer digital files of your work for download, or only finished prints?

I offer only finished prints and photos rather than digital files to ensure you receive a product of the highest and most luxurious quality. By using a professional photo lab I’ve trusted for years, I can control and guarantee the excellence of each piece.

This means you can be confident in the superior quality that you won’t find in ordinary photo labs. For your convenience, the prints can be framed and ready to hang upon arrival, or unframed so you can choose a frame that best fits your space and taste.

I believe it’s worth waiting a few days for a truly high-quality product that you’ll cherish and admire for years to come.

How do I care for my art prints?

Paper prints need a frame for hanging and preservation.

To clean, avoid using damp cloths or any cleaning products. Use only a soft, dry cloth to gently dust the surface of the print and frame.

If you are framing it yourself you should be aware the print has a delicate surface and is best handled with care. Soft cotton gloves will help protect your print from fingerprints or scratches whilst mounting the print in frame.
Always make sure you use archival quality, acid-free, mounting-grade materials (tape, paper).

What printing technique do you use?

The printing technique pigment printing is made only with use original, ecological and odorless inks that do not contain substances harmful to humans.
Pigment based, archival and museum quality inks are employed on advanced inkjet printers, using up to 12 individual colors rather than the traditional 4 colors combinations (CMYK).
Printing is done at a resolution of 1440 dpi, which guarantees photographic quality and exceptional detail. This allows you to obtain a “spot” that is invisible to the naked eye. By using appropriate consumables, you can achieve faithful color reproduction and durability exceeding 100 years (indoor exposure).

Do you use AI, filters, or Photoshop to edit your photos?

No, I don’t use AI, filters, or Photoshop to alter my images. Every photo you see on the website is a natural scene, captured as it was in reality. The only adjustments made are basic edits and minimal enhancements in Lightroom. Though it may seem hard to believe, the final images are a reflection of the actual moments, with no significant alterations. I’m a photographer, not a graphic designer.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Shipping your item as a gift is possible, but please note that each print is carefully packaged for safe shipping, so the parcel won’t look like a typical gift. However, I can add special touches to meet your needs. Just contact me at peacefulnature(at)byjmj.pl, and we can discuss a custom order. I will be happy to create a tailored listing for you.

Gift wrapping includes a layer of protective packaging, followed by gift wrapping with ribbon, and then another layer of protection. A personalized card with your message can also be added. Cost of packaging: €6.
