\u201cThe World Is Where You Choose To Stop\u201d received a recognition in the Photo Slideshow category of the \u201c2025 Through the Lenses of Polish Women Photographers\u201d competition, organised by Polish Women Photographers.<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

On 7 March 2026<\/strong>, the opening of the exhibition \u201c2025 Through the Lenses of Polish Women Photographers\u201d took place at the Gallery of Photography of the City of Rzesz\u00f3w<\/strong>. The competition results were announced during the opening.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s edition received 99 entries<\/strong> in three categories: single photograph, photo project, and photo slideshow. The jury, consisting of Anna Bedy\u0144ska, Jan Skwara, Mariusz Guzek and Ma\u0142gorzata Wakuluk, selected the winners and recognitions in each category.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

My work \u201cThe World Is Where You Choose To Stop\u201d<\/strong> received a recognition in the Photo Slideshow<\/strong> category. The prize was a voucher for a photography trip, sponsored by the boutique travel agency Pakuj Plecak.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

My photo slideshow<\/strong> consists of 37 photographs and lasts just under three minutes.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It is a record of my small journeys to the nearby city park in Nysa – and, at the same time, journeys towards myself.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

When photographing nature, I stop at things that are usually easy to overlook: a small detail, light, texture, shape. I am interested in the little things that appear right beside us when we simply give ourselves enough time to notice them.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This is how \u201cThe World Is Where You Choose To Stop\u201d<\/strong> came about.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n
