This photograph was born from lightness: intuition, playful experimentation with light, and the quiet joy that accompanied the artist during a walk in a nearby city park. Twisted branches and bursts of light told their own story, inspired by a single tree visited throughout this ongoing project ‘Mindfulness‘ since 11/01/2024, under varying weather, seasons, and light conditions.
As a result, embroidering stitches on a print of a photograph is a continuation of light itself – a gesture of freedom and joy in creation. A movement beyond the image.
Using luminous thread, the artist follows the natural flow of light already present in the scene. The embroidery highlights its direction, structure, and rhythm, without altering the image itself. In this way it gently reveals what was already there.
It is a visual meditation – mindfulness, expanded into material form.

‘Embroidered Light | Mindfulness on the Triangle’ is a one-of-a-kind piece, manually finished by the artist, showcasing an original photograph enhanced with hand embroidery.
Hand embroidery is applied directly onto the fine art print using luminous, golden metallic thread. Moreover, each stitch is placed individually, following the intuitive rhythm of light. No two works are identical; therefore, this piece will not be recreated.
